Diverse Learning Environments
Toddlers
Our toddler program focuses on providing a safe and engaging environment where children can develop their social and emotional skills. Our teachers plan activities that promote exploration, creativity, and independence. We also introduce basic academics such as numbers, colors, and shapes to prepare children for preschool.
Preschool
Our Curriculum of choice is “The Creative Curriculum” by Teaching Strategies. This Largo Pre-K school is a Gold Seal Accredited School with the State or Florida. Our Accreditation program is the APPLE (Accredited Professional Pre-school Learning Environment). We combine all that is required from these three books to create fun; enriching experiences that help the children grow.
VPK
Our center offers the 3 hour VPK program as well as our VPK with wrap around care. The full day program (wrap around care) includes a nutritious lunch and afternoon snack. This program is available to all children the year before they are eligible for Kindergarten. We are available to help all families with the enrollment process and any questions they may have.
School Age
At Oakhurst Learning Center, we provide a fun and activity filled after care program for students K-5th grade. Our after care staff provides a fun and enriching program with engaging activities and learning opportunities. In addition to our after care program, we offer before care from 6:45 am, where they can enjoy quiet activities and games up until they get on our school bus at 8:00 am to be dropped off at Bauder or Oakhurst Elementary.
